[배드민턴코리아] 제92회 전국체육대회(이하 전국체전)이 대단원의 막을 내렸다. 전국체전 배드민턴은 지난 7일부터 12일까지 경기 수원시 아주대학교 체육관에서 열렸다. 배드민턴에는 총 12개의 금메달(남녀 고등부, 대학부, 일반부 개인전 복식 및 단체전)이 걸려 있었다.
대회 최고의 스타는 다름아닌 국가대표 이용대, 조건우(이상 삼성전기)였다. 이용대와 조건우는 남자 일반부 개인전 금메달에 이어 단체전에서도 우승을 차지하며 대회 2관왕에 올랐다. 초등학교부터 현재까지 한솥밥을 먹고 있는 이용대와 조건우는 매 경기마다 환상의 호흡을 선보이며 체육관을 찾은 수많은 팬들의 갈채를 받았다.
오는 29일 결혼을 앞두고 있는 이효정(삼성전기)도 2관왕에 오르며 은퇴 무대를 화려하게 장식했다.
서울(한국체대)과 인천(인하대, 인천대)는 남녀 대학부에서 2개의 금메달을 사이좋게 나눠 가졌다.
고등부에서는 울산의 활약이 빛났다. 울산(문수고, 범서고)은 4개의 금메달 중 3개를 차지하며 고등부 최강자 자리를 지켰다.
배드민턴 종합우승은 금메달 2개, 은메달 3개, 동메달 2개를 차지한 서울(총점 2032점)이 차지했으며, 부산과 인천이 그 뒤를 이었다.
제93회 전국체육대회는 2012년 10월 11일부터 17일까지 대구에서 열린다.
