배드민턴코리아 2021년 5월호가 발행됐습니다.

2021년 5월호 표지는 <배드민턴 프로리그 반드시 만들겠습니다 : 김중수 한국실업배드민턴연맹 회장>입니다.

지난해 12월 제2대 한국실업배드민턴연맹 회장으로 당선된 김중수 회장을 만나고 왔습니다. 2010년 대표팀 감독을 은퇴하고 배드민턴 행정가로 변신한지 10년 만에 실업연맹 회장직에 오른 것입니다. 다시 한 번 한국 배드민턴의 중흥을 이끌고, 프로리그를 창설하고자 하는 그의 다짐을 들어봤습니다.

4월 경북 김천에서는 제59회 전국봄철종별배드민턴리그전 중고등부 대회가 열렸습니다. 배드민턴코리아가 사흘간 현지에서 경기를 지켜본 후, 중등부와 고등부를 나눠 결승전 리뷰를 작성했습니다.

초등부에서 전설적인 지도자 생활을 보냈던 최용호 감독이 용인에서 사설 아카데미를 열며 인생의 새로운 장을 시작했습니다. 와이런아카데미의 수장으로 재탄생한 최용호 감독을 만나 그간의 이야기와 앞으로의 계획을 듣는 시간을 가졌습니다.

코로나 시국으로 올림픽 개최가 불투명한 지금, 올림픽이 반드시 열린다는 생각으로 동요하지 않고 준비 중인 김충회 국가대표팀 감독을 만났습니다. 흔들림 없이 비장한 각오와 함께 결의를 다지는 감독님의 열정을 느낄 수 있는 시간이었습니다.

신제품으로는 잠스트 주니어 발목보호대, 잠스트 주니어 무릎보호대, 요넥스 나노플레어 X7, 볼빅 블랙홀 83을 리뷰했습니다.

The May 2021 issue of Badminton Korea has been published.

The cover of the May 2021 issue is "Badminton Professional League for sure. This is Kim Joong-soo, chairman of the Korea Business Badminton Federation.

We met Chairman Kim Joong-soo, who was elected as the second president of the Korea Business Badminton Federation last December. He retired as the national team coach in 2010 and became the president of the business federation 10 years after turning into a badminton administrator. Once again, We heard his pledge to lead the revival of Korean badminton and establish a professional league.

In April, Gimcheon, Gyeongsangbuk-do, the 59th National Spring Badminton League Middle & High School Competition was held. After watching the tournament for four days, Badminton Korea has written seperate reviews of finals for each middle and high school team. 

Head coach Choi Yong-ho, who spent his legendary leadership in elementary school, opened a private academy in Yongin and began a new chapter in his life. We met head coach Choi Yong-ho, who restarted his brand new life as the head of the Y-run Academy, Badminton Korea has interviewed his personal stories and future plans.

At a time when the Olympics are unclear due to Covid-19, We met national team head coach Kim Choong-hyoi, who is determined by the idea that the Olympics will definitely be held.  We could feel the head coach's passion for determination.
