2021년 9월호 표지모델은 <2020도쿄올림픽 동메달 킹콩! 값진 감동, 파리까지 이어 나간다 김소영-공희용>입니다.

전국민을 웃고 울린, 이번 2020도쿄올림픽에서 많은 한국 선수들이 메달 획득에 성공했습니다. 배드민턴에서는 여자복식 김소영-공희용 조가 값진 동메달을 따냈습니다. 두 선수를 만나 메달 획득까지의 여정과 그 기쁨의 순간을 다시금 돌아봤습니다. 김소영, 공희용 두 선수와의 왁자지껄한 인터뷰는 유튜브 영상으로도 만나보실 수 있습니다.

두 선수의 인터뷰 뿐만 아니라, 이번 올림픽 배드민턴 전체를 돌아보는 시간도 가졌습니다. 종목별 상세 리뷰를 여러 페이지에 걸쳐 실었습니다. 한눈에 종목별 금메달리스트에 대한 이야기와, 한국 선수들의 성적표도 담았습니다.

올림픽은 끝났지만 국가대표팀의 일정은 현재진행형입니다. 지난 8월 17일부터 23일까지 전북 정읍에서 국가대표 선발전이 열렸습니다. 연초부터 복식 선수 선발 규정에 대한 논란이 있었기에 이번 선발전이 더욱 주목을 받았는데요. 배드민턴코리아에서 직접 현장을 취재하고, 관계자들을 인터뷰하며 느낀 이번 선발전 후기를 담았습니다.

외에도 올림픽 대표팀 귀국 현장, 2023전주월드시니어배드민턴선수권 개최 협약식 등 다양한 배드민턴 뉴스도 실었으니 읽을거리의 부족함을 느끼시지 않을 것이라고 생각합니다.

The Olympics are over, but the national team's schedule is currently progressive. From August 17 to 23, a national team selection match was held in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do.
