배드민턴코리아 3월호가 발행됐습니다.

2022년 3월호 표지모델은 <본캐 배드민턴 선수부터 부캐 방송인까지 배드민턴의 영원한 연예인, 이용대>입니다.

'윙크보이'로부터 다소 시간이 흘렀지만, 여전히 배드민턴의 최고 아이돌은 뭐니뭐니 해도 단연 이용대입니다. 지금까지 그러했고, 앞으로도 그러하듯이요. 지난 2021년 유독 방송 출연이 많아지며 다시금 팬들에게 반가운 얼굴을 내비쳤던 이용대를 만났습니다. 배드민턴 선수로서의 '본캐'는 물론 방송인이라는 '부캐'까지 능숙하게 섭렵 중인 이용대에게 배드민턴, 방송 등 다양한 주제로 이야기를 나눴습니다.

4강전과 결승만 남겨둔 배드민턴 코리아리그의 두번째 경기 리포트도 준비했습니다. 조별 라운드 2~3차전부터 6강전까지 알차게 담았습니다. 이렇게 친절하면서 흥미로운 경기 리포트, 오직 <배드민턴코리아>에서만 만나실 수 있으실걸요?

<라켓보이즈>에 이어 이 코리아리그에서도 종횡무진 활약 중인 사람이 있습니다. <라켓보이즈>에서는 코치로, 코리아리그에서는 해설위원으로 맹활약 중인 장수영이 주인공입니다. 많은 일들이 있었던 2021년을 지나, 새로운 모습으로 우리 곁으로 돌아온 장수영을 만나 커피 한 잔과 함께 수다를 떨고 왔습니다.

지난 2월 15일부터 20일까지 말레이시아에서 아시아남녀단체배드민턴선수권이 있었습니다. 토마스&우버컵의 대륙별 예선을 겸하는 대회입니다. 우리나라도 출전해 여자대표팀은 준우승, 남자대표팀은 3위를 기록했습니다. 어떤 포인트가 강세였고, 어떤 점이 다소 아쉬웠는지 되짚어보는 시간을 가졌습니다.

2월 17일에는 대한배드민턴협회 대의원총회와 표창식도 열렸습니다. 작년 한 해 한국 배드민턴을 빛낸 여러 사람들이 영광스러운 표창을 수상했습니다. 최우수선수로는 김소영과 공희용이 꼽혔습니다. 이외의 표창자 명단은 3월호에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

3월에 들어섰지만 아직 날씨는 쌀쌀합니다. 코로나19 오미크론 변이는 날로 기승을 부리고, 강원도에서 대형 산불이 나는 등 다소 황망한 시기입니다. 아픈 사람, 다치는 사람, 슬퍼하는 사람이 모두 아픔을 이겨내고 행복에 다가설 수 있도록 배드민턴코리아도 기도하겠습니다. 4월호에서 뵙겠습니다.

The March issue of Badminton Korea has been published.

Some time has passed since "Wink Boy," but Lee Yong-dae is still the best idol in badminton. It has been like that so far, and as it will be. In 2021, we met Lee Yong-dae, who showed a welcome face to fans as he made more appearances on the show. We talked to Lee Yong-dae on various topics such as badminton and broadcasting, who is proficient in not only the "main character" as a badminton player but also the "second character" as a broadcaster.

We also prepared a report on the second game of the Badminton Korea League, which has only the semifinals and finals left. We put everything from the second to third rounds of the group stage to the semifinals. You can only see this kind and interesting game report in <Badminton Korea>.

Following <Racket Boys>, there is a person who is active in this Korea League. Jang Su-young, who is active as a coach in <Racket Boys> and as a commentator in the Korea League, is the main character. After 2021 when many things happened, we met Jang Su-young, who returned to us in a new way, and chatted with her over a cup of coffee.

From February 15th to 20th, there was an Asian men's and women's badminton championship in Malaysia. It also serves as a continental preliminary round for the Thomas & Uber Cup. Korea also participated and the women's national team finished second and the men's national team finished third. We had time to reflect on what points were strong and what was somewhat disappointing.

On February 17, the Korea Badminton Association's general meeting of representatives and a commendation ceremony were also held. Last year, many people who shined Korean badminton won honorable commendations. Kim So-young and Gong Hee-yong were selected as the best players. It started in March, but the weather is still chilly. The COVID-19 Omicron mutation is a rather embarrassing period, with the outbreak of a large forest fire in Gangwon.
